- master the art of crafting viennoiserie, including croissants, pain au chocolat, and other laminated pastries, ensuring consistency and high quality
- contribute innovative ideas and recipes for new viennoiserie and sourdough bread variations
- adhere strictly to established recipes, processes, and baking techniques while maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- prepare breads from our bread selection and other baked products
- collaborate with the team to ensure efficient production schedules and timely delivery of freshly baked goods
- preparing viennoiserie
- this will include mixing, scaling, shaping before baking
- having exceptional standards for your quality of work
Requirements
- proven experience as a baker specializing in viennoiserie and sourdough bread production
- in-depth knowledge of the baking process, including fermentation, shaping, and baking techniques specific to viennoiserie and sourdough
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality
- creativity and a passion for experimenting with flavors and ingredients
- strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene and sanitation standards
- flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required in the baking industry
