Responsibility
- the Home Efficiency Support Worker will fill a supporting role in the Home Efficiency Team
- deliver drop-in sessions in our accommodation and in community settings
- develop a network of referral organisations/partners to ensure women have access to additional expertise if needed
- support frontline staff knowledge via the development of energy training to be integrated into The Haven’s staff induction training
- work alongside colleagues in the Wellbeing Services team to ensure your work ties in with the wider wellbeing outcomes
- develop and facilitate interactive energy workshops in our accommodation and in community settings where women feel safe to increase their understanding of their rights with regards to energy consumption
- work within the guidelines of the Health and Safety Lead as needed
- provide 121 advice in person, on the telephone, and digitally, which may include assessing bills and explaining statements, advising how to calculate energy usage, providing practical tips to reduce energy waste and lower bills, and supporting with grant applications
