Responsibility
- assist the senior team in overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen
- ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
- maintaining a high level of food preparation and cooking as needed
- coordinate with the events team and to supervise food production aligns with the pre-orders & allergens
- maintain inventory levels and order supplies as necessary
- train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices
- collaborate with the senior team to develop menu items
- ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented according to established recipes and quality standards
Requirements
- previous experience working in a high-level restaurant or events company
- strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary principles
- excellent leadership and communication skills, this role will have customer elements
- ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- culinary degree or certification is preferred, but not required
