Responsibility
- with our new 88,000sqft facility Test Valley Packaging are looking to expand the team with the appointment of an Operations Director
- as Operations Director you will ensure people, processes and systems are optimised to deliver the strategic aims of the company
- you will work closely with heads of departments to drive operational excellence to ensure we exceed our customers expectations
- working with the leadership and management teams, input to and deliver the Company Strategic plan
- design and implement the Operational Strategy in line with Company Strategy and objectives
- challenge our current processes, making recommendations for change and then leading that change to drive efficiencies
- take responsibility for Health and Safety onsite and act as the nominated person
- take responsibility for directing and guiding continuous improvement across the business
Requirements
- extensive operational experience and a proven track record within a Senior Operations role
- hands on experience with ISO audits
- up to date knowledge of Health and Safety
- previous experience of leading and developing individuals and teams
- enjoy and work best in a fast-paced environment
- possess strong commercial acumen and negotiating skills
- operations leadership: 3 years
- A proven leader with the ability to effectively communicate, influence, develop and build relationships at all levels within the organisation and externally
