TEGEN Accessories is the trading name of TA and MHT Online Ltd (company number 14233016). We are a genuine business based in Brighton. We sell luxury hair accessories, which we individually pack and dispatched to our website customers from our Brighton office. We are a small team of real people.
Criminals are using our company name and number and website to make their scam look convincing. They are nothing to do with us.
We never:
Offer work-from-home packing or packaging jobs
Recruit through Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, Telegram, mobile games or social media reels
Ask you to pay a fee or buy a starter kit
Ask you to pay to “release” or withdraw earnings
Ask for your bank details or for payment by transfer app or crypto
Our genuine vacancies are only advertised on Indeed, and every role is based in our Brighton office.
If you have been contacted: stop all contact and don’t share any personal details. Please email us at [email protected], with screenshots if you have them. Every report helps us get these accounts taken down.
If you have already paid money we are genuinely sorry
Contact your bank straight away and tell them you’ve been the victim of a scam. If you paid from a UK bank account, you may be able to get your money back under the Authorised Push Payment reimbursement rules. The sooner you act, the better.
Report it to Report Fraud online or on 0300 123 2040 (in Scotland, call Police Scotland on 101).
Be wary of anyone offering to recover your money for a fee. That is a second scam.
We cannot refund money paid to the scammers because it never reached us. We are happy to confirm in writing that this was a scam using our name, to support your bank claim or police report.
We understand the anger in the reviews on this page, and we share it. Please know that the people who wrote them were never our customers or employees, and what they went through was not caused by us.
Our name is being used against us as well as against you. We have reported this to Report Fraud and Trading Standards. We continue to chase both, and we keep reporting every advert and account we find.

Hi All just to give you a further update. I found out yesterday that Tegen Acessories has absolutely nothing what so ever to do with TA and MHT Online Ltd, they informed not to use them and ive been strongly advised to contact your bank if money been lost and also report it to reportfraud.police.co.uk. Tegen Acessories has informed me they have reported TA and MHT Online Ltd for using their website. And using their company as their registered company. So please report it.
One other thing I forgot to mention if you go through the refund department and get Melina she gets you to tap on a link then she gets you to send photographic id before she calls you, on the video link it doesn't show you her face all you see is her long black hair, and lower part of her body.
It was good to start with, However they get you to do a 3 day probationary period last payment of £85.00. This has now only been since Monday this week 28th September 26 fool that I was paid £330.00 was informed by Michael that it was the last task, or no it wasn't, more tasks came up after it, when the 3rd Task came up of the merchant tasks they only wanted £900.00 or No. However because I started to ask questions and argue with him, I threatened to ring Police, and report them for fraud, and i told them that him, Vannisa could get done personally for fraud plus the company. In the end he sent me a link for the Refund Department, someone called Melina, she told me that they owed me £624.50 however she told me before they can process the refund I had to a £80.00 processing fee when i told her i didn't have the money, she started getting Shitty with me during the conversation this is when it got really heated when i told her it is against the law to with hold monies that is duly paid to you, i said if your a legitimate company like you say you are then you pay up without hesitation. To which she told me flie a law suit, God ahead do what you like, then in the next breath said im only a normal employee, don't have a go at me in my home, how the hell did i know she was at home I didn't. For the processing fee all she needed to do was to take off the £80 off what was owed to me and pay me the difference, plus since Monday this week upto 1st October 26, they owed me £75.00 on top. They said once you became a full time employee supposedly for each Tik Tock videos you liked you were supposed to be paid £5.00 per task. I haven't received a single penny off them since this Monday 28th September 2026. I have hounded them solidly since this all started on 20th September. Once I get a bee in my bonnet, im a women scorned and a dog with a bone. So now and I have told them I'm escalating the matter further, also what I have done is ive taken photos of every single thing I've done so far for evidence so its all in black and white and ive told them I have. Plus I told them I'm reporting them to their director, and from Monday upto and including today they are refusing to acknowledge me. Plus the products they were supposed to be sending to me it was getting delivered by the courier so it said yesterday and then low and behold I checked today and it states parcel has been recalled back to sender, I wander why, so again I raised questions but no response. Don't touch them with a barge pole. Contact your banks to see if you can get a refund and tell them un be known to yourself you have fallen foul of scammers obviously there is no guarantee to get anything back but it might be worth a try. Like I said at the beginning they did pay some money back but not lately. Therefore like I said I've had no refund or money owed to me up to today.
I concur with everything you have said - to get my refund I was told initially I had to pay £1500 because I had mad a mistake and pressed the wrong button - that figure then got reduced to £150 - then I got a link today to Refund dept same person Melina - asking for ID etc before they could pay me the £1666.60 that they say is due to me. Definiteley not paying them a penny - anyone out there DO NOT ENTERTAIN THIS COMPANY - it was ok at first just to get your trust but there is always a reason why they cannot pay up. have to put it down to experience sadly. there are some nasty scammers about these days.
I am going through the exact same thing now under the impression I had signed up to watch videos to gain extra income then I had to transfer 10 pound it went onto an app they get withdrawal codes and they control through I think I got 27 back next day oh you need to complete hotel booking exactly same as did they day before but I had to send 30.00 but this hotel thing again and get profit sent back next day they wanted 85 told me this was the last hotel thing. Next min they took my money then told me to complete it all I had to send 366 pound to get 566 pound back and for me to get all my withdrawals back. I didn't even have that kind of money in the account advised them this they was trying force me to pay. Advised them only got paid Friday they got rude I told them that the money I had sent was for my bills on hope I'd get extra back. It's now sitting in the account they have won't complete it till I send the 366. I don't know what to do or who to contact about all this now am just glad I havnt sent that money. Since they have removed me off groups but still messages me good morning to see if I have the funds yet and goodnight.
I wasthe fool and paid 890 and they said i hit a wrong bityon and lost 1742, they know want 150 to process a full refund to me of 1742 and i will get 150 back in 3 days
Don't fall for this scam. Ad on Instagram to make money from home. They using a UK company to lure you into thinking you can package craft work from home. They ask for your details and send you are tracking number of a shipment. Courrier company look ligit until you look deeper and realise its fake. They quickly move the conversation onto telegram and ask you to like post on tiktok and send you £3 for every like building your trust. Usually 6 likes on the first day. Second day they step up the con by getting you to deposit£10 to a hotel site and pay you a reward. Once you receive the reward they ask you to do the second task which is a £30 deposit but his is were they test you with further depost of £7 with added task. In the task you also sending money to random accounts which is a massive red flag.. After payment you might be led to think this is a money maker. Day 3 is were the scam starts they ask you to deposit £85 to a hotel deal.. Once you do you locked in to another bigger deposit of £330 to release your reward. This is where they rinse you . I got out at this point with a £26 loss from the so called mkney I made. Don't be fooled by these people they are scammers with fake accounts and profiles

Nope, no… not on my watch. I was gonna risk 330 but after every comment I have seen online , I am so grateful I hadn’t. I lost £85 and that was my loss.
Do Not …. And I mean DO NOT in any form Give out any more Money to this company. They will promise you that this is the very last time of a payment but lucky I got out before I did anything stupid.

This is exactly me at the min they wanted 85 I sent it then in order for me to get that back I had to send another 366 I never really made any money from it C's I feel every time I got bits from them it was used for the next task but they asked for higher amounts each time
Do not give any money or time to this company it is a complete scam that is there to draw you in and take your money. Take it from a loser like me that has fallen victim to it. You pay the £85 and then you get hit with a surprise you need to pay 330 you paid 330 and then you get told oh there’s been an error and your account has been locked. You need to do the next task and pay £500 to get it unlocked and then you can get all your money back. No doubt that you pay the £500 and something else goes wrong so then you need to pay even more money.
It is a complete scam that they have tried to legitimise by registering as a company in the UK of which government and law-enforcement have done nothing to stop.
The first warning sign should always be that you are sending money to a different account every time and when the money gets more substantial, it’s asking for you to send the money to various accounts in Africa.
These people are absolute scum praying on people that have time on their hands and looking to earn a little extra money and they draw you in with the promise of getting more that you just have to pay that little bit more. Please anyone that has paid anything to this company? Cut your losses now there is no pot of gold at the end of their rainbow.
Oh I definitely got out after the £85. No way I was giving £330 to them less me being stupidly to have paid £85. Last off.

From your reviews, it seems that you require an upfront investment of an initial £80 and then £330, what are these monies for please?
Last payment I did was £85. Promised that £330 the last to get my £500 odd. I’m not fooling for that

They do online games (including asking you to do social media photo/ video likes )and you can get paid £3- £1000s. Not sure it is legitimate but they pay you.
I got about £50 from them in the first couple of days and a couple of tasks involved me paying £7 or £10 which I then got back. They then wanted me to deposit £85 which they said I would get back £110 but that was too much for me so I said I wouldn't do that one.

They should have a force refund as this ain’t fair on unemployed people that are only starting. My is at £539.5. So I’ve lost £85. :(.

It’s horrible isn’t it, I can’t justify £85 as can’t guarantee they’ll give it to me.. something doesn’t sit right, I wouldn’t hand that money over as especially as the other person can’t access the money either
£85 is the last payment I did. I’ve sent a message to the teacher , confirming if once £330 is paid is there any other tasks after. I have Anthony K and he said No other task. Honestly not sure if to believe it. I’ve done other hotel tasks and it’s been payback once tasks are done. Double pay too. I have had to borrow money for the £85 but the £330. No chance. I’m unemployed, living on low wages as I don’t even see the money for rent due to automatic payments to council. It’s all about tasks / hotels and TikTok likes and get paid. Starting at £3 morning check in and when full time it goes to £5 to £200 or so. I’m OCD and ADHD (anxiety) and abit of autism. (Think that’s how it’s spelt). I really want to be paid but I also don’t wanna risk losing £330 or a scam of them saying no task after £330 payment. It’s all about the unknown.

Yes , I paid £85 which half of it I had to borrow £15 since I was short from mother and boyfriend. Unfortunately the £85 lost until I pay £330 on last task to generate a withdrawal code.
If you wish to lose £85 , I wouldn’t risk it.
They will pay you back after tasks are all done but it’s all to get to full time. Please do check in with the teacher you have and ask to confirm if any other tasks are needed after the £85. It’s all different for everyone. (I think).
