Responsibility
- overseeing and actively processing the monthly payrolls, ensuring compliance with HMRC legislation and Republic of Ireland rules and regulations
- carrying out critical payroll checking using pay variation reports and undertaking payslip reviews each month to reduce margin for error
- together with the team, managing the payroll mailbox to ensure all queries are dealt with in a timely manner
- awareness of Sweco Ireland payroll administered via a third party bureau
- overseeing Sweco Ireland payroll, administered via a third party bureau
- overseeing pensions administration including auto-enrolment and processing contributions on a monthly basis
- understanding share scheme reporting for taxation purposes
- providing advice and guidance on statutory pay and leave, jury service, sickness, maternity, paternity, adoption and parental leave
