- assist the business owner and General Manager in overseeing daily operations of the garden centre shop
- provide excellent customer service and assist customers with their inquiries and concerns
- train and supervise retail staff to ensure they provide exceptional service to customers
- stock control – monitor stock levels and place orders for replenishment as needed

- ensure merchandise is properly displayed and priced accurately
- handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales
- assist in creating effective marketing strategies to drive sales
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- previous experience in a retail or customer service role is required
- strong administrative skills
- excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- EPOS knowledge – essential
- retail sales: minimum 3 years
- supervising experience: 3 years
