Responsibility

  • greet and welcome clients in a professional and friendly manner
  • answer phone calls, make appointments, take payments and answer client emails
  • provide information and assistance to clients and callers
  • schedule appointments and manage diary
  • we are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Reception Supervisor to join our established team, working at our Doctor Doolittle's Cardiff branch. There may be the occasional shift at our Penarth branch, so flexibility is essential
  • receive and sort mail and deliveries
  • stock control and ordering
  • previous reception and customer service experience is essential, and the successful candidate should be confident in dealing with clients and providing an excellent level of customer service

Requirements

  • experience in working in the veterinary industry desirable
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
  • ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • attention to detail and accuracy
  • professional appearance and demeanor
  • customer service: 2 years
  • administrative experience: 2 years
