Responsibility
- ensuring that all corporate, HMRC and mandatory deadlines are adhered to
- completing VAT /CIS returns
- responsible for balance records, monthly ledgers, and journals
- review and audit financial reports and statements
- processing payments, invoices, income, and receipts
- data input into accounting software/databases
- accurate record keeping
- preparing company financial statements to submit to accountants
Requirements
- proven bookkeeping and accounts experience in the construction industry
- excellent record keeping and can maintain an orderly filing system
- high level of accuracy and the ability to question/challenge discrepancies
- strong organisation and time management skills
- reliable timekeeping and management
- bookkeeping: 5 years
- accounting: 5 years
