Requirements
- experience with modern HTML5/CSS standards and JavaScript, including concepts like layout, specificity, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility
- experience with object-oriented programming such as PHP and Timber
- experience with WordPress development and familiarity with leading plugins
- thorough understanding of Core Web Vitals and how to maximise page performance
- experience with using MySQL to access, manage and optimise databases
- experience making theme alterations, developing custom post types and working with advanced custom fields
- 4+ years experience in the field
Responsibility
- maintenance of our current brand websites as well as building/migrating new sites as we continue to grow
- investigate and resolve technical and operational issues affecting our websites, eCommerce or live chats
- develop workflows and establish best practices for website contributors
- responsible for compliance with all website related matters such as ADA/WCAG
- stay current with industry best practices to implement technical optimisations related to site performance, compliance and UI/UX
- manage website integrations with business systems
- evaluate and test new marketing tools that relate to the website/SEO/PPC
- understanding and implementation of website security, and vulnerability assessments
