Responsibility
- SHIPLEY ESTATES LTD are an independent family business operating AGC and High Street Bingo venues
- we are seeking to recruit an additional Service Engineer to join an existing field-based team
- this new role will be based in the Midlands and candidates should be ideally located to serve our customers and maintain/develop our business in this exciting and vibrant industry
- maintaining service standards
- in addition to this, applicants may at times be expected to conduct additional servicing, assisting machine collections and manage machine deliveries, installations and removals of gaming machines and other business-related equipment and to deliver outstanding engineering support to our existing staff in this field
Requirements
- right to work in the UK
- pass a Basic Discloser background check
- be flexible in your approach to travel and working hours
- be able to work evening/weekends
- have held a valid UK or EU driving licence for at least 3 years
- suitable candidates will be able detect and repair networking issues with server-based gaming machines, perform routine maintenance services, preventative maintenance schedules and system tests
- the ability to effectively diagnose faults on Legacy type fruit machines and remedy any repairs/conversions on their own merits
- other required skills include the ability to solve practical faults, diagnose computing issues and manage spare parts to ensure minimum down time can be achieved across their area, although training will be offered for all our products/services
