SEVERN TRENT GREEN POWER HOLDINGS is looking for employees for positions:
recycling operative
Responsibility
- oversee the safe receipt of product and then maintain the overall operation of the AD process to meet site targets
- maintaining and controlling the Plant and vehicle/machinery service routines, requirements, and records as per Company and Plant procedures
- take ownership for ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for all
- maintaining relevant Site Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental standards and records
- contribute to the compliance with the Environment Permit , ABPR, PAS 110
- adhere to and promote the Company’s Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality policies in accordance with the Integrated Management System
- competently operate the OAS Scada monitoring system, Weightron weighbridge and food de-packaging machinery to the agreed safe system of work and procedures
- keep required records as directed by your Line Manager
Requirements
- mechanical aptitude
- operation Telehandler and tractor
- ability to work with in a controlled environment
- knowledge of working at height and ladder safety
- computer literate
- experience of scada system or similar
- knowledge of weighbridge and associated processes
- knowledge of the waste industry and processes an advantage
