competently leading and managing the team of Activity Leaders
leading and attending occasional excursions demonstrating superior pastoral care and discipline of students, ensuring their safety and physical and emotional wellbeing
creating and overseeing the delivery of an inspiring range of sports, activities and social events throughout the 5 weeks of the Summer School
liaising with the Operations Director and Course Director to ensure all necessary paperwork is in order, activity and excursion Risk Assessments are completed in advance, and that staff are fully briefed for compliance and according to school policies and those of all relevant regulatory bodies
carrying out Activity Leader reviews and appraisals
fostering a sense of belonging to the school and ensuring a positive experience for all students and staff
working alongside our external Activity providers ensuring that all Risk Assessments are in place and have been read by all participating staff
ensuring all pupils attend their elected activity as instructed by the Course Director

Requirements
current First Aid certificate
previous summer school experience
lifeguard qualification
the ability to speak other languages is an advantage
extensive previous experience in a boarding school environment and a good understanding of the expected standards and rules
proven experience of managing staff in a similar environment
ability to lead and deliver an exemplary co-curricular activity and social programme
qualification and experience to lead one or more of the published sports or activities
