- perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, oil changes, tire changes, diagnostics & repair
- diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues & not just replace, but repair
- conduct vehicle inspections to identify any potential problems or safety concerns
- complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each repair or maintenance task
- keep work area clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
- liaise with suppliers to order parts & manage their own workload
- working independently to test drive & asses vehicles for sale, report on condition & potential works & then carry our that work to a high standard
Requirements
- previous experience as a vehicle technician or in a similar role is essential
- attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- excellent problem solving skills and ability to diagnose mechanical issues efficiently
- strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
- must have access to their own tools
- full & Clean UK Driving License
- own transport is essential
- mechanical: 5 years
