parts advisor
Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- dealing with customers on the telephone and face to face
- the Parts Advisor is responsible for the selling, receiving and organising the delivery of parts
- identifying parts from an electronic parts catalogue
- ordering parts from our manufacturers
- processing parts using our computer system and booking parts to customers or taking payments as required
- checking in orders and receipting in through our management system
- creating invoices and taking payments
- ensure parts orders are ready for customer collection or packaged for courier/postal delivery
Requirements
- minimum of 3 GCSEs or equivalent
- self-motivated and have the ability to work as part of a team
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- experience in parts sales environment is ideal, experience using Ibcos Gold software preferred but not essential
- positive attitude
- knowledge of machinery components and how they work would be beneficial
- ability to work well in a team environment
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
