RHC Lifting designs, manufactures, supplies, installs, services and maintains overhead gantry cranes, hoists, vacuum lifting devices, jib cranes and general lifting equipment across the UK
since the start of our business in 2001 we have developed a strong team focussed on the delivery of high quality services and have forged strong relations with specialist partners
we are currently looking to recruit a full-time crane maintenance / installation engineer to be based in the Central London area, although some UK-wide travel may be required from time to time
the successful person will be involved in attending breakdowns, servicing, installation, testing and commissioning of overhead gantry cranes and associated lifting equipment
we are currently looking to recruit a full-time crane maintenance / installation engineer to be based in the Southampton area, although some UK-wide travel may be required from time to time
Requirements
experience of carrying out preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment including troubleshooting and fault diagnosis
electrical engineering experience with a good understanding of three-phase control systems is preferred
mechanical engineering experience of medium to large motors, electro-mechanical brakes and reduction gearboxes is preferred
experience of PLCs and inverter control systems is preferred
for the right person, we offer competitive rates of pay, a company van, 25 days holiday, company uniform and PPE
standard hours for the role are 40 per week
the is the opportunity for overtime and the successful candidate will be required to participate in the on-call rota for reactive breakdowns
