- RHC Lifting designs, manufactures, supplies, installs, services and maintains overhead gantry cranes, hoists, vacuum lifting devices, jib cranes and general lifting equipment across the UK
- since the start of our business in 2001 we have developed a strong team focussed on the delivery of high quality services and have forged strong relations with specialist partners
- we are currently looking to recruit a full-time crane maintenance / installation engineer to be based in the Central London area, although some UK-wide travel may be required from time to time
- the successful person will be involved in attending breakdowns, servicing, installation, testing and commissioning of overhead gantry cranes and associated lifting equipment
- we are currently looking to recruit a full-time crane maintenance / installation engineer to be based in the Southampton area, although some UK-wide travel may be required from time to time
Requirements
- experience of carrying out preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment including troubleshooting and fault diagnosis
- electrical engineering experience with a good understanding of three-phase control systems is preferred
- mechanical engineering experience of medium to large motors, electro-mechanical brakes and reduction gearboxes is preferred
- experience of PLCs and inverter control systems is preferred
- for the right person, we offer competitive rates of pay, a company van, 25 days holiday, company uniform and PPE
- standard hours for the role are 40 per week
- the is the opportunity for overtime and the successful candidate will be required to participate in the on-call rota for reactive breakdowns
