RESTON WASTE MANAGEMENT is looking for employees for positions:
manager
Responsibility
- ensuring all documentation are completed on time including the preparation of key reports for Directors
- manage & supervise the staff including staff holidays and absences
- disciplining staff when necessary following company procedures
- ensuring all plant & machinery are operated efficiently to achieve daily targets
- negotiating and liaising with outside suppliers for the best rates on waste disposal contracts
- ensuring all staff comply with company & legal legislation, policies and procedures including health & safety, waste management licence condition and all contractual obligations
- managing the reporting of damage to any machinery, vehicles, or the sites. Working closely with the existing transport team to deal with any issues on vehicles to ensure an immediate action is taken to resolve any issues
- logistics planned for the artic lorries to ensure the lorries are sent to the correct sites at the correct time due to managing a fleet that can run through the night
Requirements
- waste qualifications i.e, Wamitab is essential
- health and Safety Qualifications/Experience
- full clean driving license essential
- knowledge of Waste Operations
- computer literate
- excellent communicator
- ability to understand and work within budgets
