Responsibility
- the successful candidate will be expected to take responsibility for the operation, quality assurance and maintenance of all laboratory equipment
- the successful candidate will be required to work as part of a team of 5 technicians to carry out a range of laboratory services including microbiology, haematology, cytology, biochemistry, endocrinology, serology, PCR and faecal analysis
- the successful candidate will be responsible for receipt, processing and data entry of samples and results from all laboratory submissions with minimal supervision but appropriate support
- the position will at times be customer-facing and the appropriate skills to deal with veterinary professionals and the general public will be required
