- conduct thorough inspections of all installed machinery, including related parts and components
- perform adjustments and repairs on production lines
- use shop floor equipment and machine tools to fabricate or repair necessary parts
- ensure planned and corrective maintenance tasks are competed as scheduled
- carry out fault diagnosis and repair machinery breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime
- identify the reasons for machinery breakdowns and determine the needed repairs, reconditioning, or replacements
- provide reports to the engineering manager and complete all relevant paperwork and record keeping
- carry out all tasks in compliance with the Company’s Health and Safety procedures
