Responsibility

  • be suitably qualified to advise senior management of statutory duties
  • ensure that the Company meets all DVSA requirements and all legal obligations are met
  • monitor Transport Costs
  • ensure vehicles are safe and meet all legal requirements
  • be practical in problem solving any defects or breakdowns which may arise
  • undertake ‘spot’ checks of vehicles on a regular basis
  • plan Vehicle servicing schedules and ensure that planned timescales are adhered
  • ensure that all Vehicle Records are complete, accurate and filed appropriately

Requirements

  • management qualification preferred
  • transport Manager CPC qualification
  • clean Driving Licence
