support engineer
Responsibility
- maintenance and aircraft preparation of Customer aircraft to the highest standard
- undertake routine maintenance checks and modifications as directed by zonal supervision
- work with Check Manager and B1 or B2 Certifying Engineers to identify impending problems and generate solutions
- provide updates to B1 or B2 Certifying Engineers on any issues impacting their work plan
- report any unsafe situations to their Supervisor and via the internal reporting system
- carry out maintenance in accordance with approved Maintenance Data
- accountable for the technical integrity of all work carried out under their control
- undertake career development via engagement with the Mechanics Passport Scheme
Requirements
- experience in the Aviation industry is essential for this role
- minimum of 2 years’ experience as a mechanic
- indentured apprenticeship or equivalent in an aviation engineering or similar mechanical engineering field
- mechanical: 2 years
- part 66 A Licence is preferred but not essential as the company will train and develop those with aspirations to grow their
