Responsibility
- pilgrims' Friend Society is a charity that provides housing, care, and support services for older people
- with a Christian ethos, we create nurturing environments, offering residential care homes, independent living, and dementia care
- our mission is to enhance the well-being of older individuals and promote community
- reporting to the Chief Executive, you will lead the finance team with three direct reports
- establish an appropriate financial policy framework to guide the charity's financial decisions
- prepare annual budgets for all functional areas of the Society and provide expert advice on financial planning

- lead on commercial appraisals of contracts and new opportunities
Requirements
- chartered or Certified Accountant
- previous experience in a similar scale organisation or larger, preferably in a growth environment
- experience with company secretary issues, leadership, and project management
- excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- applicants must be evangelical Christians of the Employment Equality regulations 2003)
