Responsibility

  • there is the requirement to be able to cover in other Corby Children Centre bases as and when required
  • to act as receptionist for the Centre, to include operation of telephone system, meeting and greeting all parents, external agencies, and visitors to the Centre
  • to be the first port of call at the Centre, and provide information to parents and families on services available either at the Centre or through partner agencies including early education, childcare, health, family support and other services for families with children under five
  • to administer the internal and external booking of all rooms within the Centre; to include contact visits, parent bookings, staff bookings, and bookings from other agencies
  • inputting of Children Centre Registration forms
  • the successful candidate will be expected to adhere to all our safeguarding, welfare, and health and safety policies and procedures

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant subject and/or
  • proven experience as an administrative assistant
  • willing to undertake further training
  • experience of reception duties in a busy environment, displaying excellent organisational skills
  • experience of handling data e.g. data entry, collating and maintaining data
  • experience of using a range of office equipment/ technology
  • general knowledge and understanding of the General Data Protection Regulations 2018
