- monitor and record vital signs, observations, and changes in individuals' health conditions
- manage and maintain medical equipment, ensuring proper functioning and cleanliness
- implement and follow care plans, including dietary requirements and mobility exercises
- respond promptly to emergencies, following established procedures and protocols
- utilize your specialised skills, such as trachy skill, ventilation skill, peg feeding, airway management, oral/nasal suctioning, bowel management, dystonia care, epilepsy management, and autism management, to meet the specific needs of each individual
Requirements
- relevant healthcare qualification or certification
- previous experience in a care or healthcare setting is desirable
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- empathy, patience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- strong organizational and time-management skills
- knowledge of health and safety regulations and infection control practices
- flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
