Requirements
- 5 years’ experience in a similar maintenance role preferred
- strong understanding of electrical systems, including but not limited to; wiring, breakers, switches, fixtures, outlets and light switches
- excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with colleagues and management
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
- able to obtain a full DBS
- hold a full driving license
- strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to work under pressure to complete jobs on time with minimal guidance
- must be able to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights throughout an entire day, work in tight spaces , work in confined spaces , stand for extended periods of time on narrow scaffolding, walk on uneven terrain
Responsibility
- install and repair equipment and mechanical systems as directed by the Operations Manager
- maintain and install plumbing, electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems
- install and maintain carpentry and plumbing services
- perform all carpentry duties under the direction
- perform groundskeeping duties as directed
- perform other duties as assigned
