- prepare surfaces by cleaning and leveling them

- align tiles properly using levels, squares, and plumb lines
- apply grout between tiles and remove excess grout
- install tile trim and edge pieces for a finished look
- repair or replace damaged tiles as needed
Requirements
- proficient in using power tools such as tile saws, grinders, and drills
- knowledge of carpentry techniques for building or repairing subfloors, walls, or other structures
- familiarity with masonry techniques for working with stone or brick surfaces
- ability to read and interpret schematics or blueprints for accurate tile placement
- experience in fabricating custom tiles or patterns is a plus
- ability to work at heights, such as on roofs or elevated platforms
- strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing
