Requirements
- bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- professional accounting qualification - ACA, ACCA or overseas equivalent
- minimum of 5-8 years of relevant financial controllership experience
- track record of developing people and creating a high performing team
- experience of working within the technology industry highly desirable
- private equity experience and exposure to mergers and acquisitions are highly preferred
- strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS accounting principles and regulations
- proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
Responsibility
- ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and manage the audit process
- ensure compliance with internal control policies and procedures
- manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a high-performance culture
- act as a key point of contact for private equity partners, investors, and lenders
- monitor and forecast cash requirements to support operational needs
- provide guidance and support in financial matters, including technical accounting issues and complex transactions
- oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS
