- experience working with various carbon fibre, glass fibre, foam/Nomex core and resin systems is highly desirable
- strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- proficient in using hand tools & power tools
- ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications & detailed manufacturing documentation
- able to follow traceability & record keeping procedures
- excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- minimum of 3 years of experience in composite hand lay-up, Resin Infusion or Pre-Preg manufacture within the marine, automotive, defence, aerospace or other quality driven industries
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibility
- report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor
- ensure proper curing of materials by using ambient cure, ovens, autoclaves
- perform in-process checks as required
- participate in team meetings and training sessions as required
- provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality
