Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- the hours of work for this role include 12 hour, dayshifts and nightshifts. The pattern alternates every 3 weeks
- liaise with lead technical operator when critical issues regarding product non-conformance, safety and/or production issues arise
- report any safety accidents/incidents to lead technical operator and identify, communicate and eliminate potential hazards
- we currently require a new Forklift truck driver to join our Norbev team to work under the direction of the lead technical op, you will proactively perform technical and operational duties to ensure customer orders are fulfilled while also ensuring the highest standard of food safety and quality
- if the integrity of the pack/bottle is suspect, the machinery should be shut down pending further investigation
- contribute towards achieving and maintaining a positive team and working environment, working in a cooperative manner and providing support to work colleagues on your line as needed and adapting to change in a positive and professional manner
- responsible for ensuring waste is kept to a minimum
- promote accident prevention on your line by adhering to all safety guidelines and standards, ensuring that the correct PPE is always being worn and encourage active participation in all required training
