Responsibility
- proactively review for emerging external and internal risk related issues and ensure that the appropriate actions are taken to manage these
- assist in the regular identification, assessment, and monitoring of material risks and that appropriate action plans are in place to ensure risks are fully mitigated
- undertake key control testing across the Finance domain to determine the effectiveness of our controls’ design and performance, and that they support the delivery of Finance strategic objectives and targets
- work with key stakeholders, control and risk owners to ensure that controls are compliant, fit for purpose and action plans are in place for controls outside of appetite
- proactively advocate risk and governance across Finance and engagement amongst colleagues and other business functions, including support and delivery of relevant risk training
