Requirements
- possess good communication skills
- be self-motivated, detail orientated and very organised, with an aptitude for working with numbers and absorbing and analysing technical information
- have good IT skills
- private vehicle would be useful
- must have a Current Driving Licence to drive in the UK
- demonstrate a genuine interest in maintenance & construction & be able to work well both in a team and individually
- ideally have a trade background with management experience or degree/HND with relevant experience within the same home maintenance and improvement industry
- you may have experience in reactive & planned maintenance, small & larger projects, working for various type of commercial clients with ability to take this experience across to Private Homes Sector
Responsibility
- work as part of a office based team
- liaise with Clients & Front Line Customer Management and Helpdesk
- management of commercial and contractual aspects of relationships with customers and subcontractors
- manage Insurance claims life cycle
- work through surveys to create costed solutions for clients
- plan and manage a directly employed team with an extended supply chain with the team
- measure, price, negotiate and agree on budgets and costs for works
- check project costs are correct and raise/resolve queries where necessary
