Responsibility

  • line management to Marketing Executive
  • the Wholesale Merchandising Manager will serve as a central figure, actively collaborating with Business Development Managers in the field to address the marketing support requirements of their customers, fostering strong relationships within the wholesale ecosystem
  • joint marketing campaign support - Guide the planning and execution of targeted wholesale marketing initiatives with the aim of driving increased sales and optimising stock movement within wholesaler branches
  • providing monthly reports on marketing initiatives within the Distribution channel, emphasising the analysis of expenditure versus return on investment on a per-branch basis
  • collaborating with the Events Manager to identify events tailored to engage our installer and distribution network, thereby boosting our presence and brand recognition within this channel

Requirements

  • BA Hons degree in business & marketing is preferred but not essential
  • A good understanding of Customer Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators
  • ability to meet deadlines, targets, and schedules
  • able to plan and take responsibility for multiple projects simultaneously
  • able to work in a busy and demanding environment
  • capable of working from home unsupervised and ensuring daily tasks are completed
  • extensive experience of wholesale and distribution channel sales, or senior management level at an electrical or multi-trade counter store would be preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
