MONTU GROUP UK is looking for employees for positions:
pharmacist
Responsibility
- initial consultations with patients to validate medical history and eligibility for CBPM treatment
- remote consultations with patients who have already been prescribed CBPM and need regular monitoring and follow up
- work closely with partner pharmacies to ensure smooth dispensing and delivery of medication to patients
- undertake clinical audits of prescribing to ensure safety and compliance to policies and procedures
- maintain accurate patients’ electronic health records as a result of a consultation or prescription
- implement changes to medicines that result from MHRA alerts, product withdrawal and other local and national guidance
- work with the governance and operational teams to ensure the practices are compliant with CQC standards where medicines are involved
- work closely with consultants and other clinicians as part of an MDT team to manage and monitor safe prescribing in line with guidelines
Requirements
- A UK qualified, registered Pharmacist with a valid GPhC Number
- ideally Undertaken CPD-accredited medical cannabis educational program. Through this will be provided for the successful candidate
- independent prescriber qualification
- minimum of 4 years post qualifying experience
- in depth therapeutic and clinical knowledge and understanding of the principles of CBPM
- self-motivated individual with high levels of attention to detail
- professional, ethical and committed to providing excellent customer care
- pharmacist: 3 years
