Responsibility
- clinically checking prescriptions for CBMP
- ensuring imported CBMP is available for patients in a timely manner
- ensuring all regulations are met with respect to ordering, receiving, storing and supplying CBMP
- maintaining the necessary records required for CBMP to GPHC standards
- ensure patients have the relevant information and counselling to use CBMP safely, including advice on using equipment such as vaporisors
- providing advice on availability of CBMP to all prescribers to minimise disruption of supply to patients
- work with various stakeholders to ensure supply of CBMP is as safe as possible, including importers and CDAO
- to maintain security of CBMP whilst working as a Responsible Pharmacist
Requirements
- A UK qualified, registered Pharmacist with a valid GPhC Number
- ideally Undertaken CPD-accredited medical cannabis educational programme. Through this will be provided for the successful candidate
- independent prescriber qualification
- minimum of 4 years post qualifying experience
- in depth therapeutic and clinical knowledge and understanding of the principles of CBPM
- self-motivated individual with high levels of attention to detail
- professional, ethical and committed to providing excellent customer care
- pharmacist: 3 years
