MODERN SYNTHESIS is looking for employees for positions:
project manager
Responsibility
- managing complex multi-disciplinary product development projects, from kick-off to completion
- ownership over project timelines, milestones, deliverables and resources
- implement processes within projects to identify near and mid-term risks early on, whilst owning the risk mitigation plan
- improve existing project management tools, systems and best practices to make them effective, appropriate and scalable
- drive communication with external stakeholders with minimal supervision
- oversee all incoming and outgoing documentation, supporting formatting of key information into presentations and documents to be shared internally and externally
- develop standardised documents to be utilised within the different project types
- guiding cross-functional teams in defining project success criteria, developing a problem solving & risk mitigation mindset and implementing strategies to keep projects on track under time pressure
Requirements
- is willing to have customer relationship discussions regarding project updates
- an academic degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as a scientific field, engineering, or business
- 2-3 years experience in technical project management, with a proven track record in driving time-critical projects to success
- understanding of the fashion/textile industry
- excellent written and verbal communication with both internal and external stakeholders at various management levels
- A qualification or proven industry experience with project management
- experience working with cross-disciplinary teams and an ability to adapt messaging to the audience
- experience with creating and managing legal documents such as contracts and NDAs
