- we require you to be accountable for managing kitchen staff and all food service operations of our establishments
- you will be required to work between all sites across West Yorkshire
- key Roles and Responsibilities
- reports to: General Manager / Food and Beverage Director
- great level of cooking skill must be paired with proper supplier management in order to keep costs within the approved operating budget
- the chef manager is also in charge of appropriations for serving sizes, menu plan, as well as keeping an active role in employee development in relation to filling job requirements or vacancies
Education
- extensive knowledge on labor and cost control
- in depth knowledge of development of cooking techniques
- experience in menu items pricing and menu design
- stock taking and recruitment experience
- excellent interpersonal skills
- food hygiene certification
Requirements
- proven knowledge of Mexican cuisine
- keen interest in cooking and ingredients involved
- ability to work under pressure
- creative skill in food preparation and presentation
- excellent time management and organisational skills
- proven ability in leading and developing a team
- good knowledge of PC software and Point of Sale systems
- strong customer service attitude
