Responsibility
- monitor entry and exit points to ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises
- conduct regular surveillance of the venue using CCTV systems to identify potential risks or disturbances
- enforce venue policies, including age restrictions and health and safety regulations
- provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring prompt response to any medical emergencies
- collaborate with security personnel and local authorities as needed to maintain order
- report incidents or suspicious behaviour promptly to management
- assist in training new staff on security protocols and emergency procedures
- engage with patrons in a friendly manner while maintaining authority when required
Requirements
- proven experience as a Door Supervisor or in a similar security role
- strong knowledge of security procedures and protocols
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- previous experience in a security role or as a Door Supervisor is preferred
- ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation, is advantageous
- first aid certification is preferred but not required
- knowledge of first aid
