Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- maintain the grounds of the Showground to a high standard, to include such tasks as grass cutting and watering
- carry out seasonal duties such as weed spraying and reinstatement of damaged areas of the Showground
- follow a maintenance schedule to ensure all routine tasks are completed
- maintain machinery and equipment to ensure it is safe and fit for purpose
- to be a key holder for the Showground
- assist in the setup and breakdown of events held on the showground
- be on rota to cover events held at the Showground, which will include unsociable working hours
- help to develop and operate a site management plan to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
- knowledge of maintenance programmes
- experience in previously working within a similar role
- have an organized approach with excellent time management skills
- to work part as part of an extremely busy team, as well as using own initiative with regards to problem solving
- practical skill qualification/s
