Responsibility
- ensure all equipment and machinery is maintained to the desired planned preventive maintenance schedules
- provide daily support the Engineering Manager with allocation of tasks / projects
- ability to re-design processes and ways of working to meet long-term objectives
- plan and the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment with direction from Director of Prep Produce
- troubleshoot breakdowns across a range of equipment ensuring minimal production downtime
- ensure all Preventative Maintenance is carried out with team and end of shift position reported to Director of Prep Produce
- at LWS we supply a variety of major supermarket and processing customers through our purpose-built factories and distribution centre that we prepare award winning whole produce and prepared produce
- provide daily support the Director of Prep Foods with allocation of tasks / projects
Requirements
- experience with VFFS
- knowledge of H&S, Food Safety and BRC standards
- level 3 Food Safety and Hygiene
- level 3 HACCP
- mechanical and Electrical aptitude
- CAD and DWG drawing and design
- multihead weigher experience
- PLC Systems, SCADA & MES
