Responsibility

  • assist the Manager in the day to day smooth running of the gym
  • act as Duty Manager for the Gym, in the absence of the Manager
  • responsible for targeting improvements in service level delivery
  • record and monitor daily safety checks on all equipment, report any hazards and ensure cleaning tasks are completed
  • to ensure any potential hazards are reported to the Manager
  • to arrange tours of the facilities and the "selling" of memberships
  • to organise and facilitate events to recruit new and lapsed members
  • open and Close the club. Early Morning/Evenings/Weekends will be required

  • strong compliance management skills to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
  • proficient in first aid techniques, with current certifications preferred
  • excellent communication skills to interact with patrons of all ages effectively
  • ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions during emergencies
  • A keen eye for detail, ensuring that all safety measures are observed consistently
  • must have valid NLPQ lifeguard qualification

Responsibility

  • participate in regular training sessions to enhance lifesaving skills and knowledge of emergency procedures
  • communicate effectively with team members and patrons regarding safety protocols and any incidents that may arise

  • as a senior member of staff you are responsible for the safety and welfare of any staff under your direct control, and you must therefore have knowledge of the Company’s Health & Safety Policy as
  • any matter which you consider requires attention in this respect is your responsibility to report following the correct procedures, or to the Health and Safety Manager
