Responsibility
- LARA Search is currently seeking a SEND Teacher for KS1/KS2 to join our team on a full-time basis
- the position involves teaching a Year 1 or Year 5 class starting in September
- while initially a temporary role, there is potential for it to become permanent for the right candidate
- this full-time Key Stage 1/2 Teacher role is scheduled to begin in September
- the school is situated in Richmond, located in a residential area with strong connections to the local community, just outside the town centre
- the successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a SEND Year 1 or Year 5 class on a full-time basis, including planning, marking, and assessment
- we are looking for a highly skilled practitioner with high expectations for behaviour, and we are open to applications from Early Career Teachers for this position
Requirements
- qualified Teacher Status ; ECTs are encouraged to apply
- experience teaching Key Stage 1/2
- confidence and experience delivering lessons to a SEND Year 1 or Year 5 class
- strong planning, marking, and assessment skills
- commitment to the role
- ability to manage behavior when necessary
- ability to create a positive learning environment
