Survivor Advocacy Support Worker - County Nottingham
There are 2 full-time 37 hours per week positions available for this role. As a Domestic Violence and Abuse specialist, you will work pro-actively with women, offering risk assessed, strength based, and needs led support. You will work alongside each woman, throughout her journey, agreeing individual safety support plans as well as advocating on her behalf to achieve safe and independent lives. We work with women, children, and teens who have been affected by domestic abuse in Ashfield, Broxtowe, Gedling, Nottingham City, and Rushcliffe. We run a wide range of services including the 24-hour Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Freephone Domestic and Sexual Violence Helpline. This is where you can speak to one of our specialist trained female support workers 365 days a year.

Partner Support Worker Nottingham
This is a part time, fixed term contract for up to 2 years, a car user is desirable but not essential. Interview date 22nd August 2023. To provide proactive services, that include outreach and safety oriented support work, to the partners and ex-partners of those who attend the domestic violence prevention work with Equation. Prioritise the safety of those at risk from domestic violence and participate in the range of multi-agency forums that address the safety of those at risk from domestic violence. Survivor Advocacy Support Worker - City Nottingham
A Domestic Violence specialist, you will work pro-actively with women, offering risk assessed, strength based, and needs led support. You will work alongside each woman, throughout her journey, agreeing individual safety support plans as well as advocating on her behalf to achieve safe and independent lives. Responsibilities include: providing high quality case work, managing and prioritising cases effectively, carrying out risk and needs assessments, agreeing safety plans, advocating for women with external agencies including where appropriate MARAC, courts, housing, children and adult social care, health and other voluntary and community organisations. The ideal candidate will have experience working with women effected by domestic abuse with experience of risk assessment, safety and support planning. An understanding of the practical, emotional, social and economic issues facing women and children affected by domestic violence along with an understanding of the differing forms and impacts of domestic violence across the communities we serve.
