JOVE is looking for employees for positions:
account executive
Responsibility
- own full sales cycle, from prospecting to close & meet or exceed quarterly sales goals
- develop and execute a strategic plan to drive new business and maintain current renewals across territory
- identify new business opportunities and proactively pursue potential customers
- provide accurate and timely forecasting and reporting of sales activity
- collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Customer Success, and Product Development to ensure customer needs are being met
- schedule meetings with libraries “in-person” and present the product to faculty, staff and administration at universities and colleges within your region
- work effectively with other team members in the territory to deliver on sales targets, team projects and various campaigns for the region
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree
- experience in strategic selling is an advantage
- A drive to succeed and a proven ability to be resilient and overcome challenges
- excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- A demonstrated passion for science and education, college level coursework in the sciences preferred
- confidence in dealing with university academics and librarian
- self-motivated and willing to learn new skills
- 3+ years of field sales experience. Library or Publishing sales experience is preferred
