fabricator welder
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- working as part of our production team on a variety of welding tasks to manufacture our gym equipment
- following engineering drawings from our product design team
- checking parts received and ensuring accuracy throughout the fabrication process
- inspecting and testing welds to ensure strength and durability
- jigsaw Fitness designs and manufactures innovative fitness equipment from our Lancashire HQ. Our trade customers include some of the leading British gym equipment brands and our direct customers include top health club chains
- safely operating tools, machinery and welding equipment on a daily basis
- maintaining an organised workspace and managing a varied, fast-paced workload
- hours: Mon-Fri
Requirements
- previous workshop experience
- experience with MIG Welding
- experience with TIG Welding
- sheet metalwork experience
- proactive and responsible approach to health and safety
- good communication skills
- able to work consistently through the day
- must be able to work as part of a team and individually
