Requirements
proven experience as a Chef
strong background in preparing breakfast and brunch dishes is desirable but not essential

as the Deputy Chef at Jessie’s Café, you will be an integral part of our kitchen team, supporting the Head Chef in managing daily operations and ensuring that our all-day breakfast and brunch offerings meet the highest standards of quality
whether it’s a perfectly cooked breakfast, a fresh flipped pancake, or an indulgent brunch dish, you’ll help ensure that every meal leaves our customers smiling

stock Management: Oversee inventory, assist with ordering, and ensure proper stock rotation to reduce waste and keep costs in check
hygiene & Safety: Maintain a clean, organised kitchen that adheres to food safety regulations and health & safety guidelines
support the Head Chef: Assist in managing kitchen operations, including overseeing food preparation, ensuring consistency, and helping maintain high standards in the absence of the Head Chef
breakfast & Brunch Specialties: Prepare, cook, and present all-day breakfast and brunch dishes, with a focus on fresh ingredients, seasonal produce, and creative presentation
