- in conjunction with Registered Manager ensure all policies and procedures are fully implemented
- provide and / or ensure supervision and appraisals are conducted to organisational standards and requirements in conjunction with Registered Manager
- salary Scale in a 1, 2 or 3 bed home - £13.50 - £15.99 per hour, plus Night-time Allowance @ £50.00
- work with Registered Manager at appropriate intervals to monitor and address staff performance via the performance management process
- job Title: Deputy Manager
- assist in the management and be directly accountable for an allocated weekly budget
- assist in the implementation of all designated areas of the children’s care plan in accordance with LAC or other reviews
Requirements
- A relevant qualification in a related field such as social work, childcare or willingness to obtain this qualification
- previous experience working with children and young people in a residential setting is highly desirable
- excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- strong interpersonal skills, including empathy and compassion
- ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
