maintenance person
Responsibility
- we are looking to recruit an experienced maintenance person who will be an integral part of the on site team
- there are 26 properties at Coo Palace, an indoor swimming pool, sauna, plant rooms and public areas
- perform minor fixes to household fittings, painting and touching up furniture to keep everything looking new

- install appliances and equipment, working with the housekeeping team to ensure quick fixes on property changeovers
- conduct maintenance checks in properties including usual household equipment checks

- inspect and troubleshoot equipment. Liaising with specialist plumber / electrician where needed
- you will need to be able to work within a team but at times be able to work and motivate yourself
- maintain the smooth running of a swimming pool, performing daily tests and cleaning regimes. Training will be given
- efficient skills are required as well as good timekeeping and the ability to be flexible within your working environment
- check functionality of safety systems
- the maintenance role will ensure these areas are kept in excellent condition with a high standard of knowledge and adherence to Health and Safety policy
- report to the site manager regarding any maintenance issues
- the role will involve a range of general internal and external property maintenance duties in order that Bondholders experience pleasant, comfortable, well maintained and well presented surroundings at all times
- good hourly rate dependant on experience
- as well as property maintenance, this full time position will be integral in maintaining the grounds and gardens, taking direction from our garden designer
- the ideal candidate will need to be organised and able to manage and organise daily, weekly and annual checks, working closely with the Site Manager
- some on call is required for out of hours emergencies and because of this we would prefer candidates to have no more than 30 minutes travel time to site
Requirements
- basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
- experience using hand and electrical tools for property fixes and ride on mower and strimmer experience
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
