- overseeing intercompany reconciliation process for above entities including driving settlements and monthly reporting to the US
- based in our London office, the Finance department is a newly centralised shared services team for EMEA who play a busy and vital role within the VICE Media Group
- responsible for Concur and Barclays card queries, reconciliation etc. for the relevant entities
- as our Assistant Management Accountant, you will be the main point of contact between the Finance and Production teams and you will work closely with both the Finance Manager and Head of Production to provide efficient and accurate service
- you will also support our Account Executives with branded content master projects and you will work with the Finance Manager to assist with all month end tasks and reporting
- reviewing the production accruals with the FM’s to ensure appropriate back-ups/support
Requirements
- newly qualified / part-qualified Accountant with 1-2 years of experience in management accounting and financial analysis
- production accounting highly desirable
- experience within a busy and fluid media / creative environment would be preferable
- experience in business partnering and communicating with finance & non-finance stakeholders effectively and articulately for all International regions
- you have these
- highly organised, detail oriented and meticulous
- proven experience working with tight deadlines; working effectively under pressure
- capable of working independently without being micro-managed. A team player with a proactive and enthusiastic approach who takes initiative where needed
