Responsibility

- organise and oversee maintenance and repair requirements, sourcing external support if necessary
- be responsible for Fire Safety including the Academy’s evacuation processes and emergency plan
- oversee the site security system and coordinate the response to any emergencies
- develop a maintenance request process for staff
- support the Finance Manager by managing and updating the asset register on a regular basis
- ensure that all contractors visiting site are suitably qualified and are made aware of the Academy’s policies in relation to safeguarding, smoking, fire evacuation and other relevant matters
- there are deadlines for the preparation, circulation, presentation of reports or proposals
