Responsibility
- support the physical, intellectual, emotional and social development of our young people at Gratia Cura Residential
- to help maximise the potential capabilities of all young people at Gratia Cura, physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially
- encourage decision making and provide choices by following communication strategies to ensure young people have a voice
- get to know the young person well including their history strengths and needs
- implement individualised care plans for the best outcomes
- to provide choice wherever possible and enable young people to make their own decisions as appropriate
- coordinate care and support the young person's personal requirement
- maintain high standards of personal care and hygiene
Requirements
- level 3 qualifications in Children’s Residential Care
- experience in Children’s Residential Care
- driving Licence
- children's residential care: 1 year
- childcare: 1 year
- take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others who may be affected by what you do or don’t do
