Responsibility
- we are looking to recruit an experienced Stock Controller to join the team in our biggest branch in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire
- GPH Builders Merchants Ltd is the largest independent supplier of building materials in the North of Scotland and has established an enviable reputation for supplying excellent quality products and a professional service
- organise and manage weekly stock checks as required
- stock management: monitoring levels and flagging low stock or when replenishment is required
- manage risks and costs of holding stock, but still meeting customers needs

- strong organisational skills
- confident building relationships internally and externally
- able to manage workload and prioritise urgent and important tasks
- proficient computer skills including MS office
- willing to attend internal and external training courses as and when required
- previous experience managing stock e.g. Stock Controller, Supply Chain, Inventory, Inventory Controller would be desirable. A strong background in administration may also be considered
